बसो मेरे नैनन में नंदलाल। मोहिनी मूरति साँवरी सूरति नैणा बने बिसाल॥
हे नंदलाल (श्री कृष्ण)! आप मेरे नेत्रों में निवास कीजिए। आपकी मोहिनी मूरति है, सांवली सूरत है और आपके नेत्र अत्यंत विशाल तथा सुंदर हैं।
O beloved son of Nanda (Krishna)! Please dwell forever in my eyes. Enchanting is Your divine form, dark-complexioned is Your countenance, and large and beautiful are Your eyes.
मुकुट मकराकृत कुण्डल सोहित अधर सुधारस मुराली राजत। उर बैजंती माल सोहत। मीरा के प्रभु सन्तन सुखदाई भगत बछल गोपाल॥
आपके मस्तक पर मोरपंखी मुकुट और कानों में मकराकृत (मछली के आकार के) कुंडल सुशोभित हैं। आपके अमृतमयी अधरों पर मुरली सुशोभित है और हृदय पर बैजंती माला सुशोभित है। मीराबाई कहती हैं कि मेरे स्वामी गोपाल संतों को सुख देने वाले और भक्तों से अगाध प्रेम करने वाले (भक्तवत्सल) हैं।
A peacock crown adorns Your head, and fish-shaped earrings embellish Your ears. The flute rests upon Your nectar-sweet lips, and the Vaijayanti garland graces Your chest. Meera says— My Lord Gopal brings joy to saintly souls and is ever loving toward His devotees.
