ठुमक चलत रामचंद्र बाजत पैजनियां। किंकिणि नूपुर सबद सुनत अति सुख पावत कौसल्या मणियां॥
बालक श्री रामचंद्र अपने छोटे-छोटे चरणों से ठुमकी (सुंदर गति) से चलते हैं, जिससे उनके चरणों में बंधी पैजनियां (पायल) छन-छन बजती हैं। उनकी कमर की किंकिणी (कंधनी) और नूपुर के मधुर शब्द को सुनकर माता कौसल्या अत्यंत आनंद और सुख का अनुभव करती हैं।
Child Ramchandra walks with enchanting short steps, making his anklets tinkle sweetly. Hearing the melodious sounds of his waist-bells and anklets, Mother Kausalya feels immense bliss.
धूरि धूसर बाल अंग सोहत सब तन। तुलसीदास प्रभु चरणकमल बन्दत मुनि मन॥
बालक श्री राम का संपूर्ण शरीर धूल से सना हुआ है, फिर भी वह अत्यंत सुशोभित हो रहा है। गोस्वामी तुलसीदास जी कहते हैं कि मेरे प्रभु के चरण कमलों की वंदना बड़े-बड़े मुनिजन अपने मन में निरंतर करते हैं।
Even covered in dust, the child Lord's body shines with captivating beauty. Tulsidas says— Great sages continuously adore and worship the lotus feet of my Lord in their hearts.
